After submitting the documents, start preparing for Skype or Phone Interview from the University/ College for Offer letter processing. (only for some of the universities/ college).

Receive offer letter from University/ College

Day 3
Prepare Ward/ Financial Documents and apply for COE (Confirmation of Enrollment )

Day 4
Receive COE

COE contains the following details:
– Confirmation of enrollment.
– Details of the program (course duration, tuition fess, course commencement date)

Day 5
Prepare Visa Documentation as per the chekclist

Day 6
Apply for Visa (Visa Lodgement)

Immigration might take interview randomly so it would be best to stay prepared.

Day 7
Receive Visa Decision

Day 8
Make Necessary travel arrangements & travel

What does GTE mean?

The genuine temporary entrant (GTE) requirement is an integrity assessment that all applicants for a student visa must provide to substantiate that they are coming to Australia temporarily to gain a quality education and intend to use the student visa program for its intended purpose only and not as a channel to gain residency in Australia.

Which English proficiency tests are accepted by Australian institutions?

Can I work whie studyin in Australia?

All students with subclass 500 visa are allowed to work 40 hours per fortnight and full-time during vacations. Doctorate students can work full-time throughout the year.

What is CRICOS?

CRICOS is Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students. As an international student on a student visa, you have to study with an institution and in a course that is registered on CRICOS as this registration assures that the course and the institution at which you want to study meets the high standards expected by international students to study in Australia.
